Happen upon this little gem with visiting Livingston. Adorable Bakery and Deli. Order the special of day Club Sandwich and a cup of tomato soup. Let’s say I definitely had takeaway box because it was plentiful and delicious. Saved room for dessert, ordered a pistachio pastry and cinnamon latte. My goodness the pastries are decadent, flaky, airy, and oh so yummy. The latte was by far the best I ever had! Quality food and exceptional service.

Stella’s Bakery turned out to be an unexpected gem during our RV trip toward Louisiana—an easy 10 out of 10, maybe even 15. Located in a small town but delivering the quality you’d expect in a major city, this bakery impresses with excellent coffee, charming interior design, and friendly, professional service. Everything feels well thought out and executed with care. The pastries are delicious, and the space has a polished, welcoming atmosphere. Stella’s can absolutely compete with top-tier coffee shops from much larger cities. That said, a couple of things stood out: the croissant we ordered was reheated, which made us wonder whether it was fresh that day or if reheating is their regular practice. Also, the service was quite slow—we waited around 10 minutes despite it not being particularly busy. Still, overall this is a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait and don’t expect the pastry to be straight from the oven.

Really nice place, bathrooms are very clean and pretty!! The food was really good we had the chicken salad croissant, and our drinks were Blueberry lemonade and a special tea!! The staff was very friendly and they made sure everyone was taken care of and cleaned tables up too.. I will be back. Lots of people just buy the pastries and leave. They also have soups!! Thanks to all the staff there💞

A French bakery in Livingston? Yes! They use imported French flour and have a French pastry chef on staff. Great place for brunch. I always try to stop while traveling through. The pastries are beautiful and delicious. Picked up some to share with family.

We drove from the Woodlands to check this place out. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the sweets were amazing! I loved their tea, too. The atmosphere is perfect and chic. They have side bars with outlets for those who work on their laptops. There is a nice covered patio outside with fans and big lawn. The bathrooms are spotless. We checked this place out as a halfway meeting point for some friends to meet up with in the future. I appreciate there are no fragrances or loud music. Just clean air, soft music and perfect atmosphere to chill. The chicken salad was great with side salad. Everything perfect, The zydeco dish was tasty. We ate dessert and then split another one. The cheesecake was fantastic. I loved the Nutella fingers, but the pear, almond tart was out of this world. They bake everything fresh every day. It was worth the drive!

Absolutely Delighted! I saw this building from 190, and said wow that stands out here in Livingston! I would expect to see something like this in Houston city limits, but saw it here in the heart of Livingston so i decided to stop by. Coming from a guy in the roofing and construction world, the architecture of the building is eye catching from the outside to the inside of everything was well thought of! The pastry’s are on another level, they actually brought pastry chefs from France! The owner, wife and kids are great! What a full circle moment to see a family involved completely in the business. I highly recommend the croissant pastry’s and Cortadito.

I love finding local, hidden gems when traveling (staying at Lake Livingston SP) and Stella’s has exceeded every single expectation. I went in hoping for coffee and maybe a good pastry, but finding a French patisserie in East Texas was not on my bingo card. Everything I purchased was absolutely incredible and the staff is so kind and helpful. If we lived nearby, I would be here every single day. Stella’s has moved the state park to the top of my recurring visit list, so so that we can come back to try more. The quiche Lorraine is legitimately the best I have ever had and the chai tea latte is in my top 2 of all time. So good!! I can’t wait to go back!!

We stopped by Stella’s Bakery for lunch on Memorial Day and were quite surprised with this wonderful find in Livingston. The Italian grinder sandwich and lasagna soup were pure comfort food perfection. The chicken bacon pistou was flavorful, the French dip was tender with a great au jus, and the croque monsieur was rich and satisfying. The portions were huge. We enjoyed the food so much that we decided to stay for coffee and dessert. We ordered the basque cheesecake and the almond pear tart and cheese danish - the cheesecake was the stand out along with the Cuban latte. Highly recommend a stop to Stella’s Bakery.

My family and I went to Stella’s for brunch and it was a very pleasant experience. The creative ways they craft their baked items and chocolates are amazing. They had chocolate eggs in a little chocolate nest and each egg was filled with a different flavored mousse - dark chocolate, hazelnut, and vanilla. A couple of us got sandwiches and soup, which looked very delicious. I had the croque monsieur, which was very good. The setting was very elegant with wonderful natural light through the big windows. They also have outdoor seating, some covered and some out on a lawn.

Stella’s was hands down, THE BEST EXPERIENCE. From the atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door to the absolute decadence in the bakery cases as you walk in, everything was incredible. You have to experience this yourself. Everything is baked fresh daily and seating is plentiful. The outside patio is gorgeous and peaceful and the inside decor is very tastefully done. 10/10 would recommend and we most definitely will be returning.
